The records of the Civil Service Employees Association include minutes of meetings, legal files, subject files, records of resolution or motion, CSEA publications, photographs, audiovisuals, the CSEA 100 Project, and related material. Publications is the largest series in CSEA's records and it includes pamphlets, resource books and manuals, and small papers, The Activist, CSEA @ Work, and P.S. The series also contains the CSEA newspapers The Public Sector and The Work Force in paper, microfilm and PDF file versions. The News Clippings series is a compilation of news clippings from several statewide and local New York State papers. Press Releases range from 1986-2005 and give insight to the major issues faced by CSEA. The Audio Visual series contains CSEA produced videos, advertisements, training videos, and footage from major CSEA events. Also included are audio tapes with CSEA jingles, speeches, and advertisements. The CSEA 100 Project series consists of interview transcripts and audio recordings of interviews with CSEA statewide and regional officers, Board of Directors, legal representatives, and CSEA staff. A selection of images from CSEA are available for viewing online from the University at Albany Libraries' Digital Collections database.
